A calm water sort puzzle on the ice. Tap a pail and a seal pops up under it to lift it; tap another and the fish slide across, one by one. Made for one thumb.

How to play

Four fish to a pail. One colour each.

That is the whole rule. What grows is the board: more colours, fewer spare pails, and something new every few levels.

    Tap a pail, then another

    A seal pops up and lifts the first pail. The fish on top pour across if the colours match or the other pail is empty.

    One colour to a pail

    Get every colour into a pail of its own. Sort it within two pours of par for three stars, and three undos a level let you step back.

    Mind the frozen fish

    Frozen fish show only when they reach the top. Stuck? Feed the seal on the shore a fish: a full ring is a free hint.

The chill zone

Then everybody goes to the lagoon.

Between levels the penguins rest on the ice. Nothing here is scored, and nothing needs tending.

Fish and snowballs

Drag a fish to a penguin for a snack, or into the water and a seal races in for it. Throw a snowball and the penguin it hits wears a cap of snow for a moment. Put a fish in the water each day and a free bag of five coins opens.

The lagoon shop

First clears pay coins. Spend them on hats and things (a beanie, earmuffs, goggles, a crown, headphones), on things for the lagoon (a snowman, an ice slide the penguins ride, an igloo, a hot spring, the aurora, a rowing boat) and on more fish, or adopt another penguin and give it a name. The grand prize is the Golden Mega Fish.

A bigger lagoon

Buy the lagoon bigger, twice, and everyone draws smaller with room for more. Or buy the east lagoon over the bridge, a second lagoon you swipe to, with a lighthouse, an ice Ferris wheel and a blue whale in the shop. When your phone switches to dark mode, the lagoon goes to night.
