Something not right in one of our games? Email [email protected] and a person will read it. Say which game and which phone.
Open Settings in the game and tap Restore purchases. That asks the store what your account owns and brings back everything you bought, the levels and unlimited lives alike. It works on a new phone too, as long as you are signed in with the same Apple Account or Google account.
In every game, levels 1 to 50 are free. So are the shop, the chill zone, the radio and everything to do with the animals, whether or not you ever pay. There are two things to buy, each once, each $0.99 (the stores show your local price): All levels opens every level past 50, and Unlimited lives means lives are never counted again. No coin packs, no subscriptions, no ads to watch.
You start with twenty, and twenty is the most you can hold. Every try costs one: starting a level, trying it again, moving on to the next. Win the level and you get that life back, so as long as you keep winning you can keep playing. Nothing inside a level costs a life. One comes back every thirty minutes, whether the game is open or not, so leave it alone for ten hours and you are full again. Every shop sells one for five coins. With none left, the level waits, and the lives sheet shows a countdown to the next one. Unlimited lives is one payment for good; Restore purchases brings it back on a new phone like the levels.
Stars are inside a level: three of them. Every level has a par, the fewest moves the game's own solver needs. Finish within two moves of par and you keep all three; a little past that keeps two; finishing at all keeps one. In Panda Bento Jam, where every pick is one tap, the stars rate how tidy you kept the box instead. In Cats and Arrows there is no par to chase: a clean clear is three stars, every arrow you tap into another costs one, and a third bump ends the try. Nothing you do inside a level costs a life; apart from that third bump in Cats and Arrows, a level only ends early when the board cannot be finished any more, and trying again is a new try. The stars you keep decide the coins the level pays.
You get twenty when you first open the game. From level 11, clearing a level for the first time pays two to five coins depending on the stars you kept; replays pay nothing. A free bag of five coins waits in the chill zone every day: do the one small thing the place asks for first (fill the food bowl, throw a yuzu, feed a turtle a leaf, give a hippo a melon, drag a fish into the water) and it opens. Spend them in the shop on a life, food for the animal, outfits, things for the chill zone, and the big things you save for. Coins are never sold.
It is not. Every level in every game is dealt by a solver at the desk and checked before it ships, so every one can be finished at par. Take a breath, try the level again (that is a new try, so it costs a life), and read the board again. Most of the games put a Hint in the tray from level 30, and it lights up a move you can make right now.
Check two things. The ringer switch on the side of an iPhone mutes most apps, though our games are set to play through it. Then open Settings in the game and make sure Music and Sound effects are on. The radio in each chill zone has its own play button.
Progress is saved on the phone itself, not to an account, so deleting the app deletes it and a new phone starts fresh. A purchase is safe either way: it lives with your store account, and Restore purchases brings it back.
Each game picks the phone's language the first time it opens, and falls back to English. Open Settings in the game and tap Language to choose any of the ten.
Every game follows the phone's setting. To pin one, open Settings in the game and pick light or dark.
